Frequently asked questions

  • How long does shipping take?

GGJIA ships most in-stock orders within 1–3 business days from our U.S. fulfillment point. Standard delivery time is 3–7 business days within the continental U.S. Express delivery is available at 2–3 business days. International orders (outside the U.S. and Canada) typically take 30–45 days. You'll receive a tracking number once your order ships, which you can track on the FedEx or UPS website.

  • Is shipping free?

Yes. GGJIA offers free shipping on all orders within the continental United States (some remote areas excluded). Canadian shipping is available and quoted at checkout. For wholesale orders, free freight applies to orders over $2,500 to the continental U.S.

  • Can I choose my shipping carrier?

GGJIA selects logistics providers based on destination and order size to optimize delivery time and cost. We're unable to accommodate requests for specific carriers. Any delays caused by the shipping company are outside our control, though we'll always assist in resolving issues.

  • Do you ship to Canada?

Yes. GGJIA ships to Canada, with delivery typically within 3–6 business days. Canadian shipping is quoted at checkout based on order weight and destination. Most GGJIA fixtures carry cUL or cETL certification for Canadian electrical code compliance.

  • Do you ship internationally?

Yes, to select international destinations. International orders ship via sea freight and typically take 30–45 days. Customs duties and import documentation are the buyer's responsibility; we provide a commercial invoice, packing list and country-of-origin certificate.

  • When will my order ship if I order on a holiday?

Orders placed on U.S. holidays are typically shipped the next business day. GGJIA follows the standard U.S. holiday calendar.

  • What if my package is delayed?

Packages may experience delays due to weather, inventory, billing or shipping verification. If you have a tracking number, check the status on the FedEx or UPS website. For order progress questions, contact support@ggjia-led.com.

  • What's covered under the GGJIA warranty?

All GGJIA commercial LED fixtures carry a 5-year limited warranty (some products carry 12 months — check the specific product page). The warranty covers manufacturing defects and product failures when the product is correctly used for its intended application. The warranty is valid for purchases made directly through ggjia-led.com. Coverage starts from the date of purchase.

  • How do I make a warranty claim?

Email support@ggjia-led.com with your purchase order number and a photo or video showing the failure (with the product number visible on the back). GGJIA issues a Return Material Authorization (RMA) for all warranty reviews. Notify us in writing within 15 days of the failure. After receiving your RMA number, return the product within 10 days with the RMA number clearly marked on the shipping box. Once we receive the product, we'll review within 48 hours and ship a replacement at our cost.

  • What's your return policy?

Returns are accepted within 30 days of receiving the product. The item must be in original condition with undamaged packaging (wrapping, clamshells intact). Contact customer service first to confirm the return. For approved warranty-related returns, GGJIA covers all costs. For non-defect returns more than 30 days after receipt, the customer covers return shipping.

  • Who pays for return shipping?

For warranty/defect claims: GGJIA covers return shipping once the claim is approved. For non-defect returns (changed your mind, no longer needed) within 30 days: contact us to confirm; return shipping arrangements depend on the situation.

  • Does modifying the product void the warranty?

Yes. Any modification to the product voids the warranty. This includes altering the driver, rewiring the fixture beyond standard installation, or any physical modification to the housing or electronics.

  • Are there items that can't be returned?

Certain items cannot be returned, including custom or special-order products, and hazardous materials. Standard commercial fixtures in original, unused condition with intact packaging are returnable within 30 days.

  • How are refunds processed?

Refunds are processed back to the original payment method used during purchase. For returns approved more than 15 business days after we received your request, contact support@ggjia-led.com. Note that your bank or credit card company may take additional time to post the refund.

  • What's the difference between UFO and Linear high bay lights?

UFO high bays produce a 120° circular light footprint, ideal for open warehouses, gymnasiums and storage areas with even bulk inventory. Linear high bays produce a 90° rectangular footprint, ideal for picking aisles, racked storage and spaces where light should follow a long axis.

  • What wattage do I need for my ceiling height?

A quick guide: 100W for 12–15 ft ceilings, 150W for 15–20 ft, 200W for 20–25 ft, 240W–300W for 25–30 ft, 300W–400W for 30–40 ft. Use our Lighting Calculator for a project-specific estimate, or request a free photometric layout for installations of 10+ fixtures.

  • What color temperature (CCT) should I choose?

5000K daylight for warehouses, factories, gyms and workshops (best visual acuity). 4000K neutral white for offices, retail and mixed-use spaces. 3000K–3500K warm white for hospitality and recovery studios. Many GGJIA fixtures offer selectable CCT so you can adjust on-site.

  • Are GGJIA fixtures dimmable?

Most GGJIA commercial fixtures (UFO high bay, linear high bay, parking lot, panels) are 0-10V dimmable. Pair with our 0-10V Dimmer Switch or PIR Motion Sensor for energy savings. Standard shop lights are typically on/off only — check the individual product page.

  • What does the IP rating mean?

IP (Ingress Protection) rating measures resistance to dust and water. IP65 (most GGJIA fixtures) means dust-tight and protected against water jets — suitable for warehouses, damp locations and covered outdoor use. IP66 (parking and flood fixtures) adds protection against powerful water jets for washdown and coastal environments.

  • What's the lifespan of GGJIA LED fixtures?

GGJIA commercial fixtures are rated L70 50,000 hours — the LEDs retain at least 70% of initial output at 50,000 hours. At 12 hours/day operation, that's about 11 years. Premium-tier fixtures (Super Series) use drivers rated for 100,000+ hours.

  • Can GGJIA fixtures handle cold temperatures?

Yes. All GGJIA commercial fixtures are rated for ambient temperatures from −22°F to 122°F (−30°C to 50°C). This covers unheated warehouses, cold storage and most outdoor U.S. and Canadian installations.

  • What certifications do GGJIA fixtures have?

GGJIA commercial fixtures carry UL Listed, cUL (Canada), ETL Listed, DLC Qualified (Standard or Premium), FCC Part 15, and RoHS certifications. Specific certifications vary by product — check the individual product page or spec sheet.

  • Are GGJIA fixtures eligible for utility rebates?

Yes. All DLC-qualified fixtures (most commercial GGJIA products) are listed on the DesignLights Consortium Qualified Products List, making them eligible for utility rebate programs across the U.S. and Canada. Typical rebate: $50–$200 per fixture. The DLC Product ID is printed on every invoice for rebate filing.

  • How do I claim a utility rebate?

    (1) Confirm the fixture is DLC qualified (printed on your invoice). (2) Identify your utility's rebate program — most U.S. utilities run one. (3) Submit your purchase invoice and DLC ID through your utility's rebate portal. Most rebates pay out within 6–10 weeks. Email support@ggjia-led.com with your zip code and we'll help identify applicable programs.

  • What's the difference between DLC Standard and DLC Premium?

DLC Standard is the baseline energy-performance certification. DLC Premium requires higher efficacy (typically 130+ LM/W) and qualifies for larger utility rebates (often 2–3× the Standard rebate). GGJIA prices Standard and Premium fixtures identically within the same family, so choose Premium when available.

  • Can I get spec sheets and photometric files?

Yes. Every GGJIA commercial fixture has a downloadable spec sheet (PDF) with efficacy, CCT, CRI, L70 hours and certifications. Photometric files (.ies format) for use in DIALux/AGi32 are available on request. Email support@ggjia-led.com.

  • Can I install GGJIA fixtures myself?

For plug-and-cord testing, yes — most GGJIA high bays ship with a 6-ft 3-prong U.S. plug. For permanent installation, NEC requires a licensed electrician to hardwire the fixture to your branch circuit. Many customers test with the plug-cord, then hire an electrician for permanent hardwiring.

  • What voltage do GGJIA fixtures require?

Standard fixtures accept 100-277V AC, covering single-phase 120V/240V and three-phase 208V/240V/277V commercial circuits. A 277-480V high-voltage variant is available for industrial sites on request.

  • How do I install a 0-10V dimmer?

Connect the violet (0-10V positive) and gray (0-10V negative) low-voltage leads from the dimmer to the matching leads on each fixture's driver. The line-voltage wiring connects to the dimmer's LINE and LOAD terminals. Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician. See our 0-10V Dimmer Switch product page for full instructions.

  • Can I daisy-chain multiple fixtures?

Temporary work lights and shop lights feature daisy-chain pass-through outlets — connect 4–6 fixtures per outlet (within circuit capacity). Commercial high bays for permanent installation are hardwired per the electrical plan; they don't have integrated pass-through outlets.

  • My fixture isn't dimming smoothly — what's wrong?

Common causes: (1) the 0-10V leads are reversed — check polarity (violet to violet, gray to gray); (2) the dimmer trim needs adjustment; (3) the fixture isn't 0-10V compatible — verify the spec sheet says "0-10V dimmable" not "triac dimmable".

  • What mounting options are available?

Most GGJIA high bays support hook, chain, surface mount and 3/8" NPT pole mount. Mounting hardware is included. Tripod and floor-stand brackets for temporary work lights are sold separately as accessories.

  • How does GGJIA compare to Hyperlite and Sunco?

All three are commercial LED lighting brands serving the U.S. market. Here's an honest comparison of the key differences: Warranty: GGJIA and Hyperlite both offer a 5-year warranty. Sunco offers a longer 7-year warranty on most products. However, GGJIA calculates warranty from your date of purchase, while Hyperlite calculates from the date of manufacture — meaning a Hyperlite fixture sitting in a warehouse before sale may have less effective coverage. Free photometric design: GGJIA provides free DIALux or AGi32 photometric layouts for any project of 10+ fixtures. This is a service most competitors reserve for large project orders or don't offer to direct-purchase customers. Manufacturing experience: GGJIA has manufactured LED lighting since 2007 (18+ years). All three brands source quality fixtures; GGJIA's differentiation is manufacturer-direct pricing without distributor markup. Market coverage: GGJIA and Sunco both serve the U.S. and Canada. Verify current Canadian availability with each brand. Bottom line: Choose Sunco if the longest warranty is your top priority. Choose GGJIA if you want free photometric design, purchase-date warranty calculation and manufacturer-direct pricing. Choose based on the specific fixtures and certifications your project requires — all three offer DLC-qualified products eligible for utility rebates.

  • Is GGJIA's warranty as good as Sunco's 7-year warranty?

Sunco offers a longer warranty period (7 years vs GGJIA's 5 years), and we're upfront about that. However, two factors favor GGJIA's coverage: (1) GGJIA calculates warranty from your purchase date, giving you the full 5 years of use; (2) GGJIA's warranty process ships a replacement fixture within 48 hours of approval with prepaid return shipping. For most commercial fixtures rated L70 50,000 hours, both 5-year and 7-year warranties cover the period of highest failure risk (the first 2–3 years). Choose based on your total project value and what matters most for your application.

  • How does GGJIA's return policy compare?

All three brands (GGJIA, Hyperlite, Sunco) offer a 30-day return window. Key differences: Sunco offers free returns on continental U.S. orders over $100. Hyperlite requires the buyer to pay return shipping. GGJIA covers return shipping for approved warranty/defect claims, and arranges non-defect returns case-by-case. For defect returns, GGJIA's policy is favorable; for change-of-mind returns, compare each brand's current terms.

  • How does GGJIA pricing compare to competitors?

GGJIA operates a manufacturer-direct model with no distributor markup, which generally results in competitive per-fixture pricing. Sunco offers automatic volume discounts on orders over $500. GGJIA offers tiered wholesale pricing starting at 10 units. For project quantities, request a quote from each brand — pricing varies by SKU, certification level and order volume. GGJIA's wholesale program is at ggjia-led.com/pages/wholesale.

  • Which brand is best for utility rebates?

All three brands offer DLC-qualified fixtures eligible for utility rebates. The rebate amount depends on the fixture's DLC tier (Standard vs Premium) and your local utility program, not the brand. GGJIA provides DLC Product IDs on every invoice and offers free rebate-program identification (email support@ggjia-led.com with your zip code). For rebate maximization, confirm the specific fixture's DLC tier with any brand before purchase.

  • Do all three brands serve commercial and industrial customers?

Yes. GGJIA, Hyperlite (hi-hyperlite.com) and Sunco all serve commercial and industrial LED lighting needs including warehouses, factories, parking lots and workshops. GGJIA's particular strengths are free photometric design support, a dedicated wholesale program for contractors, and manufacturer-direct fulfillment. Evaluate each brand against your specific project requirements.

  • Do you offer wholesale or bulk pricing?

Yes. GGJIA's wholesale program offers tiered volume pricing starting at 10 units, with project pricing for 50+ units. We serve electrical contractors, distributors, retrofit specialists, multi-site operators and OEM partners. See ggjia-led.com/pages/wholesale or email sales@ggjia-led.com.

  • Do you offer Net 30 payment terms?

Net 30 terms are available for established wholesale accounts with approved credit. First-time wholesale customers complete a brief credit application. Wire, ACH and credit card are also accepted.

  • Can I get samples before a large order?

For qualified project orders of 50+ units, GGJIA provides sample units at a discounted rate, refundable against the full order. Email sales@ggjia-led.com with the SKUs you want to evaluate.

  • Do you offer OEM or private-label products?

Yes. GGJIA accepts OEM and private-label orders with a minimum of 500 units per SKU. Custom optical design, housing colors and branded packaging are available. Contact sales@ggjia-led.com.

  • Can GGJIA help with a multi-site rollout?

Yes. For chains or multi-warehouse operators, GGJIA assigns a dedicated project coordinator, holds inventory for phased installation, and produces site-specific photometric layouts. Contact sales@ggjia-led.com with your project scope.
