Frequently asked questions

  • What's the difference between 90° and 120° beam angle?

The 120° beam angle (default) provides wider coverage suited for general warehouse and commercial use. The 90° beam (specify on order) produces narrower, more focused illumination — ideal for narrow aisles, picking pathways and over racked storage. For most applications, 120° is correct; for warehouses with deep racking, 90° improves vertical illumination on shelves.

  • Does the IK08 rating handle volleyball impacts?

Yes. IK08 corresponds to 5-joule impact, equivalent to a volleyball spike at 30+ mph. For higher-energy impacts (basketball pass at 40+ mph, baseball at 60+ mph), specify our IK10 variant — same fixture with reinforced lens (contact sales@ggjia-led.com). For commercial gyms and school gymnasiums, IK10 is recommended.

  • Does the Mean Well driver work with all 0-10V controllers?

Yes. The Mean Well HVG/HBG series drivers follow the standard 0-10V dimming protocol and are compatible with Crestron, Lutron, ABB, Wattstopper, Acuity nLight and all other major commercial dimming controllers. They also accept the GGJIA 0-10V Dimmer Switch.

  • What's the warranty for the upgraded driver?

The same 5-year warranty applies to the Mean Well driver. If the driver fails under warranty, GGJIA ships a complete replacement fixture (driver is non-field-replaceable on most installations). For commercial sites with on-staff electricians, driver-only replacement is possible — contact support@ggjia-led.com.
