Wanted to mount a new LED light to the side of our building where there was an old school light that had passthrough wiring. Pulled off the old light, secured the wires, installed this plate once the wires were passed through and then installed a slip mount LED Light. The install was easy, and included hardware was helpful. Holds solid weight and is easy to secure a slip mount light of any kind to this mount.

These are handy for mounting lights on a metal building or garage. The steel isn't the thickest but it's probably plenty strong for most lights, especially more modern led style lights that are a lot lighter than the big steel halogens from back in the day. The welds are decent. They're not instagram worthy but they don't need to be and they're plenty good enough for this purpose. The powder coating seems good and should help protect it from the weather adequately unless you're in a heavy saltwater air environment. Overall, for the price they're a fair deal and will more than do the job so I highly recommend them.

I'm not sure if the first package was a mistake but they sent me some pillows.Then this showed up after it said it was delivered so Im unsure.though I finally got this in. The product is sold. good welding and powder coat seems decentThough it was pre worn from the packaging before i got it. Though this wont be seen and most likely wont effect the use of this. I do think it is worth noting.

I requested and received “for free” this SLIP FITTER ADAPTER to test and give my honest opinion. OK, so I screwed up again. Checking over one of my larger outdoor floodlight stored in my garage I was certain these Slip Fitter Adapters would work great, even the seller's photographs in his ad had a light fixture that looked just like I have. When the item came I already had plans all worked out where I was going to use this Adapter, just one problem, the sleeve on my light fixture was exactly the same diameter as this slip fitter and I could not attach them together. Luckily I am using one of these just as a heavy base for a smaller spot light that I modified the base on, a bit of overkill for the small spotlight, but it works just fine. All I have to do now is find the light fixture somewhere in my storage unit that I couldn't use when I first got it a two years ago because I didn't have something like this to make the installation easy. If you need an adapter for a light fixture with the proper measurements I do recommend this for it's quality and build.Ordering as a Vine member does not mean I'm getting "free products". Between my time for testing the product, doing an honest review and the INCOME TAX I am liable for because I am "receiving items of value in lieu of wages" based on the LIST PRICE with no coupons allowed to be used, there is a real cost to these items "paid for" by me. i'm putting up some street/parking lots around my pole barn style steel building. these brackets make the installation very simple and are very sturdy. one of the lights had an overtightened angle adjustment bolt on it so i ended up using a long 1/2 drive wrench to break it free and this bracket didn't show any signs of bending or movement, definitely strong enough for the job. what's nice is the kit also includes plated masonry anchors and stainless bolts, however i just used plain lag bolts to attach them to my building. the color is also identical to the street lights that i'm installing, which was nice since i don't have to paint and it leaves a professional installation look

I used this to mount the g gjia brand parking lot light. Colors matched up and it fit as you would expect.This mount is just fine for securing a parking lot light to it, you don't need 1/2 inch plate or anything heavy duty. The welds are sufficient, not the best or the worst I have seen.The base plate I received was slightly warped, but tightening the bolts down I don't see any issues arising.Overall it seems an easy choice if you have a parking lot light, such as the options g gjia provides, and need to mount it using this slide over option. Can't go wrong with this

This bracket is extremely strong and well-constructed, the dimensions are exact. I used it to mount a powerful commercial lighting unit and found it met all expectations. The bracket is heavy and has a protective surface that stands up well to the weather. Very good product and reasonably priced.

This mounting adaptor is made from thick metal and is solid. In a storm the light is more likely to blow away than the adaptor.It comes with 2 concrete mounting bolts and 2 sets of bolts and nuts. Unfortunately the bolts are 1.5 inches long and will not work on any 2x4 or 2x6 lumber. The steel is incredibly thick and capable of holding something much larger than a standard flood light. Four lag bolts and some caulk is all you need. It will be there long after the post has rotted.

I'm a big fan of the slip fitter system of mounting lights. If you buy a parking lot light with a slip fitter end, you know these slip fitter brackets will work. These are heavy steel with what seems like a powder coating. They come with all the mounting hardware you need. I recommend these light brackets. This bracket attaches to a wall and accepts a slip fitter light.

The metal is thin, and the welds look quite bad. I'd be surprised if it lasts a year.

This is a medium thickness to thick all metal wall mount bracket. It is well enough made that is should be able to handle hanging even a large solar street light from it. It also comes with 4 sleeve bolts for wall mounting it.

Powder coat finish is good and looks durable. Comes with 4 sleeve anchors for concrete. The bracket seems well made overall. I do question the lack of any specs regarding the weight capacity. Comparing it to a RAB MAB bracket, this one is significantly thinner all around, from the tubing awg to the material in the welds to the plate thickness. The RAB is rated for 90lbs though and there aren't too many LED slip-fitter lights that weigh even half that, so this bracket is probably strong enough for most. One of the reviews mentioned that this is aluminum. It is most definitely NOT aluminum as that would be much too weak and it is indeed steel throughout.

Need to mount a shoebox light on a wall instead of a pole? You need this.This arrived very fast and in perfect condition.This wall mount bracket, also known as a 'slip fitter' is very well made. Good welds and a good finish. I like that it's aluminum ... no rusting. It's also thicker than most others so it should be nice and solid after installation.Comes with 4 masonry mounting bolts but I will be using lag bolts for wood.I think this is a good deal and will have no problem recommending this.

This bracket is well constructed and seems pretty heavy duty. This is not thin steel by any means. When installed correctly, I'm sure this can handle quite a bit of weight on it. My need is only for supporting a street lamp like the product page pictures for my driveway. The base of the bracket measures 6.5" x 6.5" just as listed. If you're looking for something that's built strong to support a light or similar, this will definitely do the trick.

I used this adapter to mount a shoebox style LED parking lot light. This bracket feels like it is built really well and strong. It makes installing these lights so much easier. It just bolted to the side on my home and the light slipped right onto it. I would recommend it for any bigger light installs.

Nice thick metal, good welds - and a nice weather resistant finish on the outside. Should hold easily spot light/parking lot light! Would recommend!

This fits the 2 3/8 in socket on most heavy duty street light or yard light LED fixtures. The metal is very thick and heavy so you will need to use the included mounting hardware to secure the adapter to a wall or pole. The color matches perfectly with the G GJIA light fixture, but should compliment any light fixture.
