Frequently asked questions

  • Can I use the B2 double-arm model to power a dock fan?

Yes — this is one of the key advantages of the B2 model. The built-in 3-prong receptacle on the double arm allows a standard dock fan (or other 120V accessory) to be plugged directly into the arm, keeping the dock bay tidy and reducing tripping hazards from extension cords.

  • How many dock lights do I need per bay?

For standard 8×10 ft dock door openings with 48–53 ft trailers, one 50W (6,500 lm) dock light per bay is typically sufficient to illuminate the full trailer interior. For wider bays, extra-large containers, or high-demand inspection operations, some facilities install two dock lights per bay — one on each side of the door frame. The 30W model is well-suited to single-bay workbenches and smaller van-size trailers.

  • What does the 5-year warranty cover?

The G GJIA 5-year limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal operating conditions. If the fixture fails due to a manufacturing defect within 5 years of purchase, GJIA will repair or replace the unit. Keep your proof of purchase. For warranty claims or questions, contact GJIA directly at sales@ggjia-led.com or +1 (346) 490-6412.

  • What is the return policy?

GJIA offers a 30-day return policy for unused items in original packaging from the date of receipt. If the product arrives damaged or defective, GJIA covers the return shipping cost. For standard change-of-mind returns, contact customer service within 30 days to arrange the return. Refunds are processed once the returned item is inspected.

  • What if I have a technical question before purchasing?

GJIA's sales and technical team is available to help with application questions, volume quotes, and specification comparisons. Reach them at sales@ggjia-led.com or call +1 (346) 490-6412. You can also visit ggjia-led.com for current product listings, spec sheets, and pricing.

  • Are replacement parts or accessories available?

Contact GJIA directly for information on replacement parts, bulk hardware, or accessory availability. Because the LED module is integrated (not a replaceable bulb), the 50,000-hour lifespan minimizes the need for replacement parts over the fixture's service life.

  • What certifications does the GJIA dock light carry?

The A1 and B2 Series are certified UL (Underwriters Laboratories), FCC, and RoHS compliant. The lamp head carries an IP65 waterproof rating. UL certification means the product has been tested to North American safety standards — a requirement for commercial installations in the US and Canada. RoHS compliance means it contains no restricted hazardous substances (lead, mercury, cadmium, etc.).

  • What is the difference between the A1 and B2 models?

The A1 is a single-arm bracket model — one steel arm extends from the wall and holds the lamp head. The B2 is a double-arm bracket model that features two arms with a built-in electrical socket/receptacle in the middle of the arm assembly. The B2 is ideal when you need to power an accessory (such as a dock fan) directly from the arm without running separate wiring.
