Lights up my pole barn

Really happy with these lights. They are in a 5 light configuration in a 34' x 48' pole barn the 240 watt one in front center between my garage doors. The other 4 are 150 watts. Lights it up nicely.

Nice light

This works really well. I really like all the different ways to hang it and it puts off a good amount of light. I love these mobile lights for my work area in my garage. I highly recommend them if you're looking for something not permanent.

Super bright!

When we had our garage built, I had the ceiling prewired for a ceiling fan. Great idea, right? Well, unfortunately, I forgot that the braces for the garage door opener would be in the way of the fan blades. Not wanting to "waste" this pre-wired box in my ceiling, I decided to try this high bay light. Wiring to the existing box was simple, along with mounting a hook in the ceiling to support it. Within 15 minutes, the light was wired and hanging on its hook. Then the moment of truth...turning it on. I was amazed at the brightness of this light. I have 12 recessed LED lights in the garage, but now find myself just using this one central light for most things I work on out there. It's impressive.

Nice lights

Put 4 lights in 2000 sq FT, lights the space well! Might add 2 more in a couple years.

Very bright!

I have had a really tough time with my existing 4-leaf+spotlight shop lights. They just don't last. So I am slowly starting to replace them and this new GJIA 300w light is the first replacement. And so far I'm glad I chose this one because it is about 2x brighter than the old ones I'm removing. The light output is too intense to look at. See the picture where I've circled this light, next to all of the old, unreliable lights. The light itself comes with a very thick aluminum hanging hook, and a thin wire cable with a clip on the end. I was able to quickly loop that wire around my roof truss and that was all I needed to do for installation. Done. There is an additional wire on the light that has the DIM- and DIM+ wires, for those using these lights with a dimmer. In my attached picture the light is at full strength. No dimmer is attached to those wires.

It's like looking at the sun!

Don't stare too long - you'll go blind. I can't believe how bright this is. This UFO light falls under the category of "heavy duty" or "warehouse style" in my opinion. It might be a bit much for a single car garage.Pros: Bright, bright, and bright! The shell/heat sink is made of cast aluminum. I had it on for about 5 minutes and it didn't even get a little bit hot. The cord on this light is really thick. It's definitely designed for the long haul. There are two extra wire that come out of the light to attach to a dimmer switch. I'm unfamiliar with this type of dimmer setup, but I can imagine that your standard dimmer will not be able to handle the load. The instructions say that this dimmer switch provides a nominal amount of power to adjust the light. The instructions explain it better than I can. The packaging was nice and the product came with foam on both sides and inside a plastic bag.Cons: I would buy more of these if I was made of money, though I think the price is reasonable for what you actually get. If you need a really bright light - this is that light.
