Frequently asked questions

  • Is 25,000 lumens too bright for indoor use?

For most indoor commercial spaces, no — but you can dim by switching off one lamp head (independent switching) for 12,500 lumens, or by aiming one head away from the work zone for indirect lighting. The 200W is sized for outdoor and large indoor spaces; for small indoor spaces (single-room renovation), the 80W model is more practical.

  • How tall does the tripod extend?

23.6" minimum to 59" maximum (about 2 to 5 feet). The telescoping action is smooth with positive locking — extend by lifting one section, the locking mechanism engages automatically.

  • Will the 14.8-ft cord reach my outlet?

The cord is significantly longer than typical work light cords (5-6 ft is industry standard). 14.8 ft handles most situations where an outlet is across the room. For longer runs, use a 12-gauge extension cord up to 50 ft without voltage drop.

  • Can I use one lamp head at a time?

Yes. Each head has an independent waterproof switch. Run one head for half power (100W consumption, ~12,500 lumens) or both heads for full power (200W, 25,000 lumens). Useful for extending runtime on battery/generator power.

  • Does the tripod fold for transport?

Yes. The telescoping tripod fully collapses to about 23.6" (the minimum height) for transport. Lamp heads fold inward against the housing. The unit fits in any work truck or large vehicle storage area.

  • How does it differ from competitor tripod lights?

Most competitor tripod lights at the 200W class use 120-150W of actual LED with cheaper drivers, producing only 15,000-20,000 actual lumens. GGJIA's 200W model uses higher-output LEDs and a quality driver to genuinely deliver 25,000 lumens at the spec sheet rating. The 14.8-ft waterproof cord is also longer than the typical 5-8 ft competitor cord.

  • Is it heavy?

At 13 lbs, it's heavier than the 80W (9 lbs) but lighter than 1500W halogen tripod alternatives (often 25-35 lbs). One person can carry, deploy and reposition without strain. The folded form factor fits standard work van/truck cargo space.

  • What's the warranty process?

5-year ETL-certified warranty. If a lamp head, driver or tripod component fails under normal use, email support@ggjia-led.com with your order number and a photo/video of the failure. Approved warranty claims ship a replacement from Spokane, WA within 48 hours with prepaid return shipping for the defective unit inside the continental U.S.

  • Can I use it on a generator?

Yes. The 200W LED tripod draws about 1.8 amps at 120V (220W including driver overhead). Any portable generator rated 1.5 kW or larger can run this unit easily. Smaller inverters (≥500W rated) may struggle on startup; use a 1 kW+ inverter for reliable operation.
