Even though I have four 4' florescent tubes over my lathe, the light was insufficient. This "Loading Dock Light" solved the problem. Now with 7,000 lumens right over the work, I have perfect light. The moveable arm allows for relocation for different projects. I able to move the head down to the center of the lathe to light up the inside of a deep bowl or place it over the top for spindle work. It is made extremely rigid, with a great finish. I am very pleased with the product, and to finally have enough light. So I guess it's not just for loading docks.Follow up: I was so pleased with my first light over my lathe, a few weeks later I ordered a second one for my Disk / Belt Sander. No matter how bright the room is, I still need task lighting for detailed work. This light is amazing, easy to install and very high quality finish. It was shipped in the manufactures box and even though the box took a beating, the light came out unscathed. I would highly recommend.

Bought 4 dock lamps 2 stop working withing 3 weeks. Waist of time and money .

Just needs about 6 more inches for full light coverage in the trailer. But it gets most of the trailer.

I got this to go into my garage as an adjustable work light. This thing is an absolute beast. It's heavy and robust. It's going to last for a lot of years in my garage.Even the joints of this use really heavy duty bolts and nylon spacers for operation. I will say when you first get it you'll want to back off some of the bolts slightly. They're really tight and it makes it hard to maneuver the light around. Just don't loosen to much as it won't hold it's own weight up as it is quite heavy with how solid it is.The light is nice and bright, it's definitely a little bit more focused which is what you want as a work light.I don't think anyone could have something bad to say about this light. With how well it's built and how sturdy it is it's worth every penny of the cost.

Installing this light was very easy!It casts a bright light over a large area and is heavy duty.It feels durable - as though it will last for quite some time - and is solid.The rotatable head is a nice feature which allows me to move the light to focus on different areas depending where I'm working.For the price, it's worth every penny! This light , light many load lights is designed to be mounted right next to a loading dock door. I do not have a loading dock but have installed this by the garage door to see into cargo trailers without extension cords all over the floor to trip over. It works very well, and lights up an focused area cleanly. The frame of this light looks and feels sturdy. Time will tell if it can hold up, but I'm confident that it will. I would recommend this to anyone that loads things from a garage or shed into a trailer.

This is a really nice light to have in a work area. We use it in our workshop/garage. It would be nice if it was a bit more versatile but we make it work for us okay as is. It is pretty bright and comes in handy while working on engines and such.

These are absolutely the correct lights to use for loading & unloading Semi-Trucks parked at the Docks. Perform easy loading & unloading of pallets from Semi-Trucks in a timely fashion now that you can see everything inside the Semi-Trailer.They are SUPER BRIGHT, & Nearly adjustable to any position needed. They go hand in hand with warehouse forklift operations, including loading & unloading merchandise from Semi-Trucks using loading docks.I would recommend.

This Led dock light is bright. It has 2 arms that swivel, as well as a light for your convenience. It is very bright, like a spotlight. You are able to switch around the main bracket to change the direction of the light based your needs. It does not come with hardware, I used what i had lying around. It is easy to set up and install. It has a push button on back of light.Overall, it is very well made, bright, heavy duty, and durable. I recommend it.

I mounted this in the middle of my workshop. While I have bright LED lights on the ceiling, sometimes I'll need extra light at a specific angle to get under or around equipment I'm working on. I put this right next to my main work bay and I'm able to swing it around and angle it for light in all the places I may be having a shadow from the overhead lighting. With it mounted about 7 feet off the ground it's not going to light up under a vehicle but it really adds a lot of extra light under the hood when I need it. It's bright and has a quality feel. The arms move freely (I loosened them up a bit) and it holds it's position until I move it again.

This light arm is built like a tank. It's very heavy duty and industrially made. The extra outlet allowed me to mount a fan on the top of the light. I absolutely love the flexibility it's giving to my shop. I can see this thing lasting forever. Really well made and solid. I would definitely recommend.

This is a great light. I mounted mine in a shed where I do lots.of sit projects. It is super adjustable. Works great and provides a lot of light that can be angled to.any direction you need. Best shop light I've come across.

This extendable light does a simple job well. The mounted articulating arm can be adjusted 180 degrees horizontally, and the lighting head can spin 360 degrees on its bracket. Thus, the light can be delivered just about anywhere you want it.The light itself is extraordinarily bright (7,000 lumens claimed), but somehow not blinding. It is also water resistant enough for outdoor use. I am using it to illuminate my shop, and I'm now finding things I never knew I lost.I really appreciate a well designed, well made product. This one gets my respect.

This light is a nice way to add a lot of light to a work area. It comes with a very sturdy, adjustable mounting arm to position the light head. The light emitted is bright and a white/cool tone. Pattern is relatively narrow. When mounted at 8 feet, the bright zone is about a 6 foot circle with softer light going out another 6 feet. This is great for a work light. The instructions suggest that heat and power need to be managed. But in reality, it's not pulling that much power and does not get hot. (warm but WAY cooler than old halogen work lights).

I've been wanting one of these lights for awhile now to mount over my outside fab table. The table is under a covered area where I work on projects in my off time. I work graveyard and sometimes it's hard to get light exactly where I need it on that table. This will be perfect. Heavy duty and IP65 rated, nice!

This is a great light for loading dock use or for working around farm equipment, which is what I will use it for. The mount quality is good and the light is rated for outdoor use so I don't have to worry about it getting wet. I'm pleased with it so far.

This light is extremely well built and very bright. I have the 50w version. It comes well packed and is mostly assembled. The only thing you have to do is mount it and attach the light. That's it. Couldn't be much simpler.The frame and all brackets are heavy gauge steel that appears to be powder coated, or at least painted with a thick coat of enamel.The LED fixture is pretty heavy and has built in cooling fins and a metal mesh lens protector.Everything about this is quality.I mounted it next to one of the overhead doors in my shop so that I could position it to light things up inside the shop or also out in front of the shop.You can adjust the arm the light is mounted to not only horizontally but also up and down.The light is very bright and very white. It easily lights up the entire area in front of my shop. Makes it so now I can work on projects further in to the night.
