Useful reach for our position

We wanted the double-bracket arrangement for this loading position. It gives us the reach we planned around. I like having a dedicated light directed toward the actual work area.

Should work perfectly, for my needs.

I wanted something fairly modular for inside my race car trailer, to help compliment the existing lighting. I used two double e-track bolt on connectors, a piece of 2x10 lumber, and lag screws. It pivots to light up wherever I need extra lighting (even out the side door), and can be simply unclipped from the e-track, and moved throughout the trailer. It's definitely bright, but I'm not so sure it hits the 7000 lumens stated in the description. Based on my use of various other LED lights, I'm guessing it's closer to 3500-4000 lumens. It's still plenty bright, for my needs, so I'm not going to cry over it. The overall quality seems good, and I anticipate getting years of service from it.

Nice for working under my car

I installed mine on the wall next to my car lift. It allows me to swing out the light and illuminate the underside of the car. Its a well built product. I wish it had more adjustments for up and down to really dial in the light.

No mounting screws or bolts are included.

No mounting screws or bolts are included (sale separately). Seems like well-made quality item. One of the tighten light screw head is broken due to the packaging. Will update the review after installation.

So convenient

This light is awesome. It's so helpful for my husband in his shop. When he needs the light closer we no longer have to hold flashlights for him. This thing is so convenient and even has an extra outlet. It's well made and durable. We've had no issues with it. Works perfectly and is out of the way when it isn't needed. The light is bright

Great light for my workshop

I really love having this light at my workshop. We build a lot of crates for artwork, statues, pianos, etc. and many times I need light that is closer than the ceiling and up off of the floor. This light has been perfect for that issue. I have it mounted 7 feet up on the wall and it is perfect as it gives me close light without being in the way. No more flashlights in the mouth, headband lights, tripping or hitting my head. The light and supporting arms are heavy and need to be properly attached to something solid. I mounted it into studs and it is extremely stable. The light performs well for my needs, is a quality item, and a good bargain in my opinion.

Bright light, pretty heavy

We got this light to use in the garage bay to have more light while working on the vehicles. This definitely does the job. It is very bright and the swing arm allows you to move it around a bit to get the light where you need it. This is a pretty heavy light so it should be attached to stud or main beam. Something that can support the weight and being moved around regularly. This review is for G GJIA 30W LED Loading Dock Light with 40" Folding Double Arm, Built-in Receptacle 4200 Lumens, 360° Rotatable Lamp Head, IP65 Rated ETL Listed for Trailers, Docks, Warehouses, Container

So very bright!

This loading dock light requires just a few common household tools to complete the installation. There is a position opposite the light where you can add other accessories, such as a fan or another light, and make it a double. Great gift for dads garage work shop.

putting the spot light on my work.

this is one of the best made dock lights we have ever gotten. It is heavy duty and installation is easy once I found a stud to attach it to so that I could move it to face my work station. I love that I can move it out of the way when I am not using it . the led light is nice a bright and really puts the spotlight on my work. I would definitely buy more of these lights.

Bright light for close inspection in the workshop

I got this light for my workshop so I could have a swinging arm that could get out of the way when not in use. The light is definitely bright and good for swinging around to your project so you can see those extra fine details when working. Then get it out of the way just as fast as you got it ready to use. A joy to use for any kind of detail work or project inspection

Excellent workshop addition

First thing to note is what a little tank this light is. I'm so used to online products using aluminum or thin gauge steel that I was almost literally floored when I picked this box up from our delivery driver. Mount up was straightforward enough, but keep in mind you'll definitely want to bolt this to a stud, joist, or lumber/plywood blocking. Do that and you can probably have your kids swinging from this beast of a light. The light itself is excellent brightness... there's nothing in my workshop that I could imagine needing more than 4200 lumens, save for maybe blinding an intruder. I was also impressed with the finish on the arm and it looks great hanging up and folds up neatly and compactly. After installing I did realize how cool it would be to have this light on an arm that could fully articulate up and down as well (vs. this just moving on a horizontal axis, with 360 degree rotation of the light itself). However that's just me pipe dreaming, and this light will handle every task I'll throw at it.

What's Not to Love!

This is an awesome Folding Arm Light. Its bright, waterproof, has 2 outlets, the light has a metal guard, and the LED doesn't get super hot, like the old style lights. The light is more directional, and doesn't really spread out much, so it is good for aiming directly at what you're working on. It is heavy so plan to use something heavy duty to mount this on. Overall, I think that this is a great light, that performs well. I have no complaints.

Beast of a shop/dock light!

Very excited to order the 30W LED loading dock light set up from G Gjia Store. Upon receiving this light, opening up and installing it - did not disappoint at all! This is a beast of a light - folding arms are heavy weight and heavy duty. The LED light is super bright and concentrates almost all of the light in the direction aimed. If you are like me, you always feel like there is never enough light in the garage or loading dock - until installing this light! The folding arms have two electrical sockets, one for the light and the other for anything additional. Installed in a metal shop building by mounting a 2x6 yellow pine board and used Lag Bolts, nuts and washers to mount the light to the 2x6. Install was straightforward and easy. I chose to mount the light vertically since I mounted it about 7 feet high - this way I can pull the light down to shine directly on the work spot in my shop. Wish I had found this LED Dock Light many moons ago!

Great in the work shop too.

I love the flexibility this light gives to my shop. Very heavy duty and super bright. I've mounted a fan to the top and a light to the bottom and absolutely love it. The extra pug on the arm allows for many things other than lights to be added. Or dual lights. I would definitely recommend this to anyone needing some flexibility in their shop.

This light is well made and was easy to assemble. I have a large roll around shelf unit, and I have this light mounted on the end of it. I am able to easily get light on it where I need it. The light is nice and bright. This really is well built and will last forever in my opinion. I would buy again. 5 STARS

Vertical Mounting

I thought that I would try mounting this vertically over my work bench. It is functional but really I need to add a screen door spring (modeled after a desk lamp) to keep it from drifting down. I tried tightening and retightening the bolt on the wall bracket but after moving the light up and down a few times it begins to slowly drift down again. In order to make this bright light a bit more versatile, I ran carriage bolts through a piece of 5/4 decking I had laying around and attached the light with wing nuts. I will have a few of these boards with bolts around my shop so I can move the light to where I need it.This light and the mounting bracket seem to be very well made. It is pricey but super heavy duty.

VERY BRIGHT LIGHT, Solid, Sturdy, Adjustable and Not Complicated to Install!

This G GJIA loading dock light is adjustable, pre-wired, VERY BRIGHT and sturdy (Industrial Heavy Duty). When fully extended the light is 40" long. This light has a swing-arm for moving the light to different, handy lighting angles. This light has a plug (is not wired direct). You will need a receptacle within 6' of the mounting bracket. The light fixture can be mounted on the side, top or bottom of the arm which provides more options to light up the area you prefer. The LED Bulb is rated at 30W and 5000K. I highly recommend this light if you need an industrial grade light. This light would work at home for several applications such as to light up a carport, barn or even a specific area outside. Super Solid Light!!

Watch where you plan to install it.

The first thing to note.. This is NOT light.. As the description says, it weighs 15 pounds.. With that being said, do not think that it is going to be a good idea to mount this into 1/2" wafer board or OSB.. Plywood would probably hold, as long as you use nuts and bolts, and not screws..I did find that it was not very easy to move.. To loosen it up to make it easier to use, the bolts in the joints need to be loosened up a little.. Since they are stainless steel bolts with lock nuts, this would not be a problem.. It is not that it is extremely hard to move, but just a lot harder than it needs to be.. Since it is an easy fix, or adjust, I will not take anything off for this.It says it is 30 watts.. As you can see by my meter, it was bouncing between 29.9 and 30 watts, so that is right on spec..The light lights things up more like a flashlight.. Meaning that most of the light is directed straight down the direction that it is pointed, and just a little bit of the light shines off to the side..Overall, no complaints other than the simple adjustment that I mentioned.

Impressive light, impressive build quality of swing arm, great finish....this light is industrial quality.... the light level is superb....the swing arm is well made, smooth, folds small foot print, great mounting bracket.... very well designed...soooo many uses, built to last, built like a tank...finish seems as if it will endure outside longer than most....no flaws here, at this price, very high quality product, 5 stars

VERY strong mount and good light.

This light has a VERY strong and versatile mount. You can even hang a small fan on it too. There is an extra pluf for it.It can swivel about 180 degrees horizontally but does not move up or down. That said, you can tilt the light itself up and down. The light itself is about 4200 lumens which may not sound like a lot but considering that's more light than the high beams on your car - not bad, eh?There is a metal button on the back of the lightr to turn it on and off. With a IP65 rating this is pretty safe to use in a light sprinkle of rain or a short rain shower. Any more than that and I would turn it off. An IP66 rating would have made it rainproof but ............... Most folks won't be mounting this outside anyway.Speaking of mounting, there is no mounting hardware. Be sure to mount this on something strong. It's heavy and fully extended the extra leverage will make even more pressure at the mounting point. If it falls, you didn't mount it securely enough.Really nice light. Sturdy, versatile and bright. I like it. Good value.

Expensive - But This Is A Very Good One

At 145 Dollars it's expensive, but this is a neat light. It is a very good work light for the shop. I evaluated the 30 Watt at 4500 lumens. It's plenty bright for any work I'm going to do. It weighs in at 15 pounds so it requires a firm mount. Especially if you hang anything else on it. This is a very good shop light. Full range of motion, well constructed. It has an outlet on the arm to power an additional item. I really like that. Their advertisement touts a fan, which is always needed in a shop. But it's handy for anything. Very well made.
