Detailed explanation of the test items

1. Safety Certification (UL/CE)

  • Insulation withstand voltage test
    • Apply 3000V AC between the input and output for 1 minute (UL 8750 standard)
    • The leakage current needs to be less than 0.5mA (for Class II lamps)
  • Temperature rise test
    • The drive power supply operates at full load for 4 hours in an environment of 40℃, and the temperature rise of key components is ≤90℃ (UL 1598 Clause 16.3)

2. Energy Efficiency Certification (DLC)

  • LM-79 test
    • Total luminous flux measured by the integrating sphere (error ±3%)
    • The input power must be ≤ 105% of the nominal value (Clause of DLC V5.1 5.2.1)
  • LM-80 Report:
    • 6,000 hours of light attenuation data (the estimated lifespan of L70 is ≥50,000 hours)

3. IP65 protection test

  • Spray test
    • The nozzle is 3 meters away from the product and sprays all the gaps at a flow rate of 12.5L/min
    • The insulation resistance after the test is ≥2MΩ (IEC 60529 Clause 14.6)
  • Dust-proof test
    • The negative pressure is extracted to make the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the shell ≤2kPa for 8 hours
